Happy Pro - Security Training is a DCJS approved New York State training school. We teach the courses we wish we had been taught. Plain language. Real instructors. Your certificate the same day, the one New York actually accepts.
What we do
We run the NYS security guard courses most guards need: the 8-Hour Pre-Assignment, the 16-Hour OJT, and the 8-Hour Annual In-Service. See the course list for current dates and how each class is delivered.
We also keep a dashboard called the Tracker at my.happyprotraining.com. It watches NY DOS for you so you do not have to. Reminders before your registration expires, plain-language guides, and jobs near you.
Why we do it
We have worked the post. We have sat through the long classroom day, taken the test, and gone back two years later wondering whether we filed the right paperwork. The training industry is not always built for the people in the seats. We are trying to fix that, one class at a time.
We tell you the truth about what New York actually requires, in plain language, and we will not pad your path with classes you do not need. Straight answers, real instructors, and a process built to respect your time.
